Some more boats. We were trying to get out to see the open waterfront, not just the dikes, and we wound up at this marina nice old marina, but it was in this scary part of town right as dusk was approaching, were a little freaked out to say the least.
This was a little restaurant that we ate at, its right on the waterfront, the boats would go by and the waves would break onto the wall just below our feet. I love this photo, I feel that it really captures the Argentine dinning ambient. The service in Argentina can be very slow, creating some good time to just sit and enjoy the the day's conversation.
However we have been having the worst of luck with food lately. It has been such a gamble. Bad food and bad service abound, you never know what you are going to get. It is making me a bit more cautious in choosing new restaurants. I must say though, on the upper end restaurants the service can be impeccable, but I think it is when you start venturing off into the cheap end you start running the risk of getting spinach filled crepes! Man what are they thinking! I mean really, spinach filled crepes! Come on!
Look at this guy. What a character. His boat is really something else, the waves from the bigger boats that come cruising through really get quite big, it would be an interesting paddle for sure!
Cool old boats.
Puerto de Frutas is this nice waterfront market. Bustling with people and local merchants it makes for a nice walk. The passing boats gives it a very unique feeling.
Colorful markets... things are so fresh here.
This was an interesting scenario, the car had been overgrown into the front walkway of this house.
